What’s In a Brand? More Than You Think
Well, almost everything is part of your brand.
Your brand is the unique look and position your product has that allows your customer to find you among all the noise.
Branding simplifies your customers’ buying process. When they see the brand, they are familiar with they won’t see all the competition sitting next to it.
This includes your business name, logo, product names, packaging, social media posts, emails, and every face-to-face interaction. Your brand not only has a look, it needs a feel.
Branding goes beyond being found, it includes the quality and price of your product, the service provided while buying the product, and the follow-up that happens afterward.
Some even go as far as making a brand part of their identity. This is the person who establishes their status by only using product XYZ.
The good news is you don’t have to have a big marketing budget to create your own brand. However, you do need to be intentional about it and realize every decision you make — every action you take — contributes to your brand. It’s a big responsibility and one that is worth the work you put in upfront.
